This week's offering is an embodiment practice. That is to say, a physical practice designed to support your mind body connection and create relaxation.
“To embody something is to "include or contain (something) as a constituent part". As you embark on your journey to elevate and expand your awareness of your feminine side, you need to connect to your body, to feel it, express it and embrace it in its physical form.”

What is Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is an “allowing” practice. It is a restful yoga practice achieved through structured relaxation that encourages healthy sleep patterns. Yoga Nidra means “sleep with a trace of awareness.” It aims to bring about a state in which the body is completely relaxed, wherein the practitioner becomes increasingly aware of their inner world. By following a set of verbal instructions while lying down, you simply connect the body and the mind.
Yoga Nidra begins to work on the deepest level. It works to heal the body and relieve muscular, mental, or emotional tension, helping you feel renewed and refreshed.

"I discovered Yoga Nidra for my own practice in 2012 when navigating deep and overwhelming grief over the loss of a close friend. I began to practice Yoga Nidra every night initially as a way to overcome insomnia and fatigue. As my body began to heal, I continued the practice to tap into the deep well of compassion, renewal, and self-love that I did not know was available. It is a truly wonderful practice to support health, vitality, and wellbeing."

More About Honey
Honey has been teaching yoga since 2007 and practicing since 1992. As a yoga teacher and studio owner, her commitment is to listen and hold space. She teaches a nurturing style of Hatha yoga, emphasizing breath awareness and good alignment in each pose, allowing the body’s innate wisdom to guide each pose and movement.
Honey utilizes yoga postures, breathing, and relaxation as a tool to create strength and increase freedom in the body, bringing lightness to the mind and spirit, and drawing awareness deeper.
We are so thrilled Honey agreed to join the Goddess Guide team. Here is what Honey had to say about it ...
"I have known myself as a girl, a mother and a menstruating woman. I have not considered or thought about myself as a Goddess or a wise woman. I don’t know what the script is for this next phase. I joined the Goddess Guides to have a structure and community to explore this new phase of my life and living."
It is our aim here at Goddess Living to empower the ultimate balance of masculine and feminine. When we work individually on our growth and balance we can then authentically provide that for our families, communities and ultimately society as a whole.
Enjoy your practice this week!
With Love,
Anne & The Goddess Guides
