This month kicked off our first quarter exploration inquiry on the subject of sex. Our monthly Community Meeting this last Saturday got us started with a discussion that delved further into the impact on our lives of what we learned or didn’t learn about the topic through education, either in school, from our parents or from our peers.
We talked about the effects of that on our lives and how we function in intimate relationships as a result. We opened up an exploration of the ways we can experience things that get tied up with sex, things such as love and pleasure.
We were very moved by the authentic investigation and sharing that happened. Also that we all learned along the way and made it to some degree of being ok with most aspects of sex, in spite of everything.
If you missed the meeting, or would like to revisit the discussion...
