More About the Heart

We have been exploring the Heart Chakra this last month in our various meetings and inquiries and thought we would offer a recap.

The Heart Chakra is the energy center that we work with to enhance the following areas of living …

  • Letting love be at the center of your life
  • Integrating your physical and spiritual self
  • Balancing logic and intuition

The heart center is what remembers acts of kindness, cultivates gratitude and attention on the good things. This can take some practice.

A daily gratitude practice has been shown to alter brain chemistry impacting our mental AND physical health. If you don’t have a regular gratitude practice we recommend you look at how you could integrate this into your routine!

While biologically we know and understand that the heart itself is a muscle and is operated by the brain, energetically and emotionally the heart has a different role.

“The mind, by its very nature, is divisive and creates the illusion of duality. The heart unifies, and brings together the threads of love, whether from those closest to us, or the kindness of strangers. The heart’s work is to be receptive and allow love to be.”

~ Ambika Wauters, The Book of Chakras
